The Mariner’s Table is a fine-dining restaurant located in Chance Harbour, New Brunswick. The logo was designed, in order to brand an identity for the new restaurant. The logo portrays an Atlantic Canadian tone, without too much of a ‘fish & chips’ feel maintaining the fine-dining quality.

Designed and constructed website in conjunction with the restaurant logo. The site has a clean look, emphasizing the food visuals to wet the appetite. The warm yellow and red colour scheme has been carefully chosen, because these colours stimulate the appetite. The website runs on an ASP.Net backend and makes use of a masterpage to get a consistent look throughout the website. The menu is constructed by combining Spry with an ASP.Net sitemap file. Strict form validation occurs on the server side using ASP.Net validators.

Tailored original logo and web design, while designing and building a customized Content Management System (CMS) specifically for this client, so that future website maintenance is as simple as possible. Designed and constructed the website, which runs on a PHP backend that interfaces with a mySQL database.

The design also makes use of object oriented coding principles which results in reusable pieces of code. These are used, for example, to connect to the database and to provide a consistent look throughout the website. The CMS is built to be extremely robust and performs very strict server side form validation.

Cherished Pet Memorial Services

Cherished Pet Memorial Services (CPMS) is a family owned and operated pet crematorium in Summerville, New Brunswick offering professional, personalized and dignified after-life pet care. Designed and constructed the website. The owners requested a website that expressed ethics, honour, and beliefs of their personalized small business. The subject of the site is very delicate and this has been respected in the design through choice of colours and images. The website was originally constructed in classic ASP, but I have recently updated the site to use PHP.

Recently, I have also started designing a system that allows online purchase of wall spaces in CPMS’ Memorial Gardens by veterinarians. This system is currently still in a very early alpha stage. It runs on a PHP backend that interfaces with a mySQL database.

Caribbean Flavas

Caribbean Flavas is a “casual fine dining restaurant” in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The construction is a basic XHTML, CSS, PHP, and Flash website. The website design is based from the restaurant’s interior design theme: tropical, warm, and vibrant colours that bring a piece of the Caribbean here to the Maritimes. Developed all areas of the website including construction, design, and have remained responsible for maintenance and updates.
